    WW1 aircraft?

I would appreciate suggestions for any WW1 aircraft you folks might know of that work good in FS9, I have Dave Eckert's Camel, Stuart Green's Albatross and Fokker D-VII, if there are any others that are good in FS9 that you know of I would appreciate it. Thanks!

***after searching some more, found old post with exactly the info I needed, so thanks anyway! I'm good to go!

FS2002/FS2004 Pfalz Dr1. The Pfalz Dr 1 was one of three triplanes which achieved production status in WW1. A very purposeful and "handy" machine, it saw combat on the western front, but it was considered that its rotary engine, the 160 hp Siemens-Halske, was too unreliable. Plane and panel by Frank Elton, Pegasus Aviation Design.

    Try Cassic British Files

Checkout the Classic British files website, they have along with the Se5a ,the Sopwith Dolphin,Avro 504k ,DH9 ,Felixstow F2a, and although using an experimential color scheme, and was too late to see action in the war,the Sopwith Salamander. I also have the Pfalz D XII and DIII ,although I can't remember where I got them, check Simviation ,or just Google the names and say for FS9.

Don't forget Stuart's SPAD VII and Pfalz D.III, plus his wonderful Cauldron G.3.

Crashwoody has his SimTech SPAD XIII here at SOH.

Frank Elton has a wonderful Sopwith Triplane and a Fokker Dr.I also at AvSim and FlightSim. he also has a very nice Fokker E.V/D.VIII. If you want the best Fokker E.V/D.VIII, get the Baron's cheap payware (works in FSX also) D.XIII.

Benoit Dubé has the absolute best Nieuport 17, aided by SOH staffer Huub Vink. I think it is available here at SOH.

There is a fine Nieuport 11 at FlightSim, nieupt11.zip.

Milan Lisner's Brandenburg seaplane is not to be overlooked, Brandenburg_C1.zip.

Also Craig Richardson's Lorner seaplane at his Classic Wings website. Ditto his DH-2 and Sopwith Tabloid. http://www.classicwings.net/

    A. F. Scrub's Pfalz D.XII and Sopwith Salamander.

    Stephen O'Leary's wonderful Sopwith Pup.

Stiz's AVRO 504, here at SOH.

Besides the others listed and what you have, that should do.

Oh no, how could I leave out Bill Lyons' excellent Graf Zeppelin, available at the Golden Wings website.

Alphasim has some nice rare planes as freeware: SSW D.III and Junkers D.I and Cl.I for FS02, but the Junkers work in FS04 also.

If your not adverse to payware, search your local Amazon for 'WW1 fighters', uk has it for the bargain basement price of £4.99 + free delivery. Five pretty nice period craft.

Also check out Top flight for some nice free and pocket-money cheap payware kites.

PS. Some decent CFS2 planes should work okay, including these, http://aerocrate.com/

I know it's been mentioned already, but I'm mighty fond of Stuart Green's Fokker D.VII. Especially figuring in all the paints that Cazzie and Huub Vink did for it.

Another payware option that shouldn't be overlooked are the Blutwerks Fokker D.VIII and DFW Floh:

The prices are reasonable and the modeling is extraordinary. However, they are not for sim-pilots that are faint of heart! Both are particularly challenging to take off and land but they are often my favorite choice for a short flight.

FS2004 L-63 Zeppelin Airship. The L63 rigid airship belongs to the second "Height-climber" series of Zeppelin airships. They entered combat service from the second half of 1917. With four 245 hp Maybach HS-4lu high-altitute engines these craft were able to reach 6000 meters statically and develop about 115 kph. Maximum range was about 13000 kilometers. Thanks for all the info, I love Stuart Green's D-VII and Spad, heck, just about everything of his.

Now, does anyone know of, or have, a paint kit for Dave Eckert's Camel? Long shot I know, but it never hurts to ask....

Pretty sure that John Terrell has a paintkit. It appears that Alessandro Biaggi also made one. Though I can't find anything.
