LT-6 Texan

Hi all. I've been through this before with this aircraft, but I happen to like Morton's terrific work so I thought I'd install this plane and see if I could get it to start. A few months ago I tried everything to get this puppy to start.....no joy!

Today?........no joy! I tried comparing the air file, the aircraft.cfg file, and the .dp file with another Texan......no joy! I tried continual engagement of the ignition key.....no joy! I tried different throttle settings.....no joy! I have never been able to get this airplane to start and I'm really wondering if there's something I've missed about it. I should say here that I don't go through any manual start procedures when I fly, I just hit the 'e' key.....could this be it?

How da heck do youse guys start dis bird? (ya, I know, turn the key). It's just dyin' ta fly.

Hello alpha_1, I had a similar problem but copied the airfile out of the 1US_T6-Texan, renamed the existing LT-6 airfile to T-6G-USAF.air.bak, then changed the 1US (1%) airfile to T-6G-USAF.air, worked well from then on.
