    There is more than one way to do it Scruff. But I think the first thing you have to do is change the name of your first install. There was a good thread on this within the last couple of weeks, I believe. If ya cannot find it, someone with better skills than I will come along to help ya out. Last time I just copied from a stock install and made 5 more.

    Here's what I've done.

    First, CFS2 behaves very well in that it does not write a bunch of nonsense to your registry. So, that allows us to have multiple installations in different folders.

    It's relatively easy to rename the CFS2 main folder , then reinstall the default CFS2 folder. Name that install as CFS2_Default. Then you can actually copy that folder to a CD, and you'll have your default setup available whenever you want... just copy the folder (with all it's contents ) to your harddrive, and it work.

    The process is to copy the cd-burned default folder to the harddrive, rename it ( CFS2_Europe_1942 ), and then you can copy a shortcut to your desktop, renaming the CFS2.exe shortcut as CFS2_Europe_1942.

    ++++++++++++++++++++

    The Scenery.cfg file can also be altered in each setup to allow shared folders among the setups if you want, but with the large size and low cost of harddrives, that's really not so necessary anymore.

    From my side, I just created a new folder (i.e. CFS2 Europe). Then copy and paste everything from the original CF2 into the new folder. That's it. You have 2 installs.
    To run the new install, you just have to go into the new folder and launch the sim by clicking cfs2.exe. You can also create a short cut from the desk.

    I did similar to the others. I have my original install in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 2

    I then build several folders to copy and paste the "VIRGIN" install into:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\ATO\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\ETO Eastern\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\ETO Western\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\MTO\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\PTO USAAC\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\PTO USN\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Modern\Combat Flight Simulator 2

    I then put a folder on my desktop named Combat Flight Simulator 2 and place the shortcuts to each, and each MB, in that folder, which keeps RAM usage down from too many shortcuts on the desktop.
