A few years after BC (before Computers) there was a great game/sim called 'Task Force 1942'. I just came across the small disk set for it, issued in the days when ya had to be a Geek just to configure the sound and memory to get it to run.
The night battles in the Solomons at close quarters were just about as fast paced as naval action can get. Ya had to love salvo after salvo of 15 six inchers in the air at once.
