    PMDG 747-400 LCF Released!

All, the latest iteration of the PMDG 747 has been released! It's only an add on and only $14.99 so is pretty easy on the wallet.

    Here's the link: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/pages/product/74l.html

    Cheers,
    Matt

Thanks for the HU, that's one ugly plane though

It would add some interesting shorter-haul usage for the 747 though.

I just bought the 747-400X from amazon for 40 bucks. I thought it was a good deal for the original price of the thing. I was wondering if I should look into buying either this or the other expansion pack. Any input?

It's almost large enough to haul my collection of beer tabs.

I bought the 800 expansion pack and enjoy the additions, though mostly cosmetic. I will purchase the LCF this weekend and will let you know. I am certain it's more cosmetic as well, but if you read through the description, it does also mention flight charatceristics are modified as well.

Will be interesting to see. I am officially checked out to fly the LCF as Captain, but have not flown it yet so far. My FO on this last leg had flown it a couple of legs.

Which company's operate the Dreamlifter? I see them in Charleston, SC., and I think Evergreen has a few, but not really sure who else does.

I believe it was only made to transport the components of the 787 Dreamliner, to it's final assembly point in Everett, WA. Could be wrong though.

There are 4 dream lifters, they are owned by Boeing and are now operated by Atlas Air, one of the original customers for the 747-8. Not short haul at all, assemblys from both Asia and Europe, as well in the USA.
