Piper Dakota or Piper Twin Comanche?

    Hi,

As the title says- which one is better, the Dreamfleet Piper Dakota or the Eaglesoft Twin Comanche? I am running FSX with 4Gb RAM, 500Mb Nvdia Graphics card, 2.5Ghz Dual core processor, Windows 7 32. Any ideas much appreciated. Not wanting to make it any harder but I am more going for detail and graphic quality than for real world performance specs.

Two different animals. The Dreamfleet Dakota is a great aircraft. Awesome flight dynamics, great RXP GNS 530 package. And I just love this bird. (I have them both).

The Dreamfleet product will NOT work in FSX without some modification IIRC. The TwinCom does, straight out of the box.

    Twin Commanche for me, too!

Why is that? There is a FSX native version of the Dakota ...Ive read it doesnt work (the GPS anyway) in 64bit Window OS because the Garmin GPS only works in 32 bit window OS.

Any particular reasons - I thought that both were FSX DX10?

BTW - On the Piper Twin Comanche does the luggage door open?

I don't have the Dakota, but you can't go wrong with the Twinkie. It is definately one of my favorites for VFR flying...

    Hi,

Thanks for all the opinions. My decision has been made harder by an unnamed developer marking down their FW190s....
