Unhappy Is there any good Bell-222 ? Payware or Freeware ?

    Hi all,

The Bell-222 is definitely the most beautifull helicopter to my eyes. It's not only because of the Airwolf series, the shape of that machine has something that is missing on the other helicopters, some style, some proportions, I can't explain, but it has something more.

Now the only model that I know about is the freeware one made back in the FS2002 days, and which is severely outdated now. Is there any other alternative ? Is any aircraft creator thinking about building one ?

I agree, a beautiful looking heli. I also tried using the early version, but try as I may I never could get it to where it looked acceptable in FSX. Finally deleted it.

Not right now but CERAsim (they made the B412p and 212) are making a 222.

That's the one I'm showing in my screenshots above, and although its flight model and textures are very interesting, everything else is just outdated, especially the virtual cockpit. That's exactely why I was looking for an alternative.

Thanks Ryanbatc about the Cerasim project, I guess I'll have to wait for that one

As stated, Cera Simaircraft have plans for one...but don't know what variant. I have sent them all reference material I have to them and I will be doing the sounds. The Nemeths also stated that they want to make one along with the 430, but not sure when that might come about.

I'm with the FAA and I'm here to help you.....................Now gimme a hug!

I have great expectations re Cera if it is of the same, perhaps higher, quality achieved with their other Bell products.

The cerasim Bell 222 is a fantastic heli....I have it and really enjoy all the features it has....But really would like to have had an airwolf version of it as well....But till someone comes up with a conversion for that....this i will enjoy for years to come.....

P.S. Anyone know what would be required to create an airwolf version...?...while retaining all the bells and whistles of the heli, and adding the ones for airwolf....
Hell it would'nt need to deploy anything....but show the guns, rocket bay and the jets on the sides.
