Thread: Ok now the Just Flight Battle of Battle of Britain - 70th Anniversary is released.

I've only bought the Hurricane - the quality of the modelling in very accurate and the aircraft flies very nicely.

It is of excellent quality, so don't get me wrong, but I don't think I'll fly this one too often. The Hurricane is one of (if not the) favourite aircraft of mine. I just don't like worn, war scarred looking planes... I like them to be polished, gleaming or restored eg RealAir Spitfire, Vertigo Hellcat, IRIS P-40, etc So this one isn't really my cup of tea.
I purchased it because I was so desperate for a Hurricane in FSX, but I guess I'll wait a little longer for Sky Unlimited's. I prefer the later marks of hurricane with the sleeker, longer Hamilton spinners and the cannons. The Hurricane XII is a prefered mark of mine -

    Hi Letsget...

I could probably do you a shiney paint based on that photo you have posted.

Let me know if your interested.

    Thanks gajit, but don't worry
    - It's not just the paints, but the model with that slightly squat, Rotol propeller. BTW where is the paintkit located in this add-on?

    Hi

Thanks LGRoudy - bit tired of painting at the moment.

The paint kit is downloadable from Just Flights website - go to support page

I must admit that I wish that Real Air had brought out a Spit Mk1

Jolly nice skin gajit, it is interesing how the change in colours changes the character of the aeroplane. Good job mate.

I don't - I'm sick to tears with Mark One's, as lovely as they are. I'd love to see some low-back XVI's and XVIII's. And then the Mark V's another story

I am wondering why this thread has not gone sticky and why it doesn't show more enthusiastic posts, and crystal clear screenshots (interior/exterior).
For a $60 package, or $30 each airplane, I would have expected more feedback.
I need more confidence in a product to spend such an amount of money in airplanes I already have in FSX.
    Just a thought.

An excellent question, and a huge screwup on my part, because I completely missed it, though I cannot imagine how! This looks like a great package.

Okay...downloaded the paintkit from here... http://www.justflight.com/faqs.asp?drdProduct=237 and it appears to install a complete aircraft (I installed into a dummy folder)?
