    Grumman F6F Drone

All this talk of the Grumman Tiger has gotten me dusting off my Classic Warbirds Design Team F6F Hellcat.

I was wondering if this repaint scheme had ever been done for this particular payware plane?

Here, by the way, is the intersting story behind one such Hellcat ...

Any leads would be great - many thanks,

    dl

ps: only found the F6F-5K repaint of the RealFlight Hellcat on Flightsim, nothing elsewhere ...

Well, I can't comlain - some lovely paints of this scheme for the Vertigo Hellcat ... but does anyone know of any paints apart from US/WWII? I know only of one repaint of the FAA and another of the Aeronavale Hellcat. Anything even close to the drone/tug paints for this lovely bird, for those of us stuck in FS9?

    thanks,

    dl

Can't remember if anyone ever did the drone paints, but here are the FAA paints I did for her.

There are two packs, one with Mk1 paints and one with MkII paints.

    Thanks RobH,

I was thinking/hoping there was some kind of post WW-II paint out there - no luck.

That said, yours are my FAA RN paints of choice - beautifully done!! A lovely paint for a lovely model.

    thanks,

    AMEN!!!!
I would love to see a Drone come out for CWDT. I keep Drooling over the ones for That "OTHER" Hellcat flying over there on the Darkside. Almost makes me think of loading X, but I just cant bring myself to do it.
