    Victor(y)? Around the Rim

Well here goes a first shot, Flying from YPDN to WRRB in a HP Victor. Fingers crossed
All modern aircraft have four dimensions: Length, Width, Height and Polotics. The TSR.2 simply got the first three right

Rather nice little flight, started out in miserable weather in Darwin but by the time I reached Bima it had cleared up nicely.

    What a aircraft, the Victor.

(Brings to mind those futuristic space ships that Flash Gordon flew in the 1950s television program. In Black & White.)

Yeah I do love the Victor, gotta try and get to Bruntingthorpe for one of their runs!

I was thinking about the vulcan but I thought its kinda stereotypical and I've butchered its panel a bit in the process of a computer switch and lost the main gau file for it

The Victor was, of course the last of the V-Bombers to enter service and was still flying with the RAF in the First Gulf War. Even today it still looks futuristic I think. The B1 is an extremely rare aircraft, with only one (I believe) in existance at Duxford, the reaminder are all K versions.

Sigh, Flight aborted due to parental nagging along the lines of "Don't you have exams soon......" "Aren't you meant to be revising...." etc.

    Try again later.
