I never got the energizer sound to work in FSX with the A-26. The starter will not crank unless the energizer is activated in FSX, but it made no sound and it seems to me the slow start gauge causes crashes in FSX.
The F7F did not use an inertia starter, although some restored F7F's might, so the energizer is not needed, just a gauge that causes the engine to crank slowly through 3 or 4 revolutions before upping it to the 500 rpm required for FlightSim to start the engine.

Per the documentation I think I posted earlier:
"Regarding compatibility, the startup gauge will only work with FS9. It
will not work with FSX or with FS2002.The sound gauge will not work with FS2002, but will work with FSX, and is digitally signed for use in that sim. Commenting the sound gauge out of the panel.cfg for FS2002 compatibility will not affect the working of
the panel, beyond the loss of the energizer sound.
In both cases, use of these gauges in unsupported versions of FS will
result in crashes to desktop."
I have written to Doug Dawson to see if he has created a slow start gauge for FSX.

Primarily adds panel from the RTWR version, updates some issues with the original paint scheme and mapping, and adds retardant drop and slow engine start (cntrl+E starts only - go to spot view to check it out) with enhanced smoke at startup. Retardant and slow engine start does NOT work in FSX; gauges are FS9 only.
