Don't fret Salt, I missed it too (the whole section seems to have been amended after I read the rules, and committed to the race),

    Funny that:

We are doing the best we can with the rules. Apologies for any confusion.

I can't speak for the others but maybe next time when I am trying to go through a dozen race related emails with the kids tugging at my knees and the Mrs needing help and I have all of about 15 min to catch up on all that and new posts, I can be more accurate the first time around... :isadizzy:

Sorry Austin for gumming up your race thread. Good luck to you!

Ironically, according to my maps, had you landed on the west half of Timor, you could have claimed the Indonesian bonus!

    Leg 2

I hear ya John,,,,reckon I'll get it now.

This will be just like everything else I do,,,,I figure out the best way right about the time I finish it.

The Shooting Star is down and safe at Bali Int'l. (WRRR)

This was another night landing,,,,that makes 2 out of 3 ,,,,and a 30 min bonus for Indonesia.

1039.4 lbs of fuel used on this trip for a running total of 1782.7 lbs

Once again clear skies and favorable winds.

Gonna leave it parked for a bit and take a break before heading to the first required airport, Halim Int'l at Jakarta (WIIH).

Okay after looking at Willy's post, I think I'll change the format up some on the arrival posts so all this is easier to read.

    Meanwhile.....

Salt Air, the CFS 2 guys did a conversion of the AS P-80 to their sim and one of their really excellent painters, Morton, did about a half dozen or so paints for it. No reflective textures, but excellent work all around. They should be here in the archive under his name.

Morton set up his own site to host his files. http://cid-7f2604cfe3f60274.skydrive.live.com/home.aspx

Some of his files here are still on the MIA list.

He does have some really good work.
