    This is wonderful news indeed!

I hope it means that he's found a cure for the vision problem that was forcing him out of the hobby...

... and not that his vision has deteriorated to the point that it now takes him this long (since his last release ages ago) to make a model...

Well I'm away on holiday at the moment, but going to email him upon my return and say thankyou (like I suppose everyone else has) for this new aeroplane. Its a joy to see him back - we used to correspond on an almost daily basis as I supplied material for a lot of his later projects. But with his health and my own family committments - we went our seperate ways.

I look forward to emailling him soon.

    Best wishes,

    Martin

I mentioned the other similar aircraft I tried once but cannot find it anywhere. The XC-142A. Any one know where this could be?

found it, ltvxc142.zip at Flightsim, and a modified FDE by Chuck Backus. I'll be checking what was done to learn any tips.

I'm close to done with a revised cfg. I've re-done the wheel and scrape contact points. Flight dynamics a little more responsive in hover/slow flight. To help with the bounces on flap deployment I'm thinking of just adding more increments. Man these VTOL things are a bear. Should be done by tomorrow.

edit: BTW, anybody know how to make the nose wheel turn correctly?

In the .air file the Engine Type (line 310) is 1 (piston) but... isn't it actually a turboprop? Or is it a helicopter?
It cranks like a piston engine when it starts, so I'm thinking some .air file tweaks are needed in addition to Aeromed's .cfg file changes.
