Have a look at some of that Octoberfest stuff.....something I gotta do before I die (should have been on the bucket list).
My family has been singing this song forever
"In Heaven there no beer, thats why we drink beer here"
"Trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty!" John Adams 1772
Snuffy / Ted
Yes do the Octoberfest, I did and it was wonderful..
Germans do sing and drink Well..
It was a Ball..
if you ever get the chance to visit Europe take it..
I learned more in two years there then a million Books could have given me about our Brothers and Sisters there..
I don't drink now, But I would still enjoy doing this again..

Don't visit the Oktoberfest. It may be a huge party, but it's a ripoff beyond everything. You can get even more drunk somewhere else for half the money.
Also, it's in Bavaria. And no one likes Bavarians. ;P
If you're in a german city an Irish Pub is the best place to go. The chance is high that you can speak your native tongue there and also you can get some information as to where else to go or not go while being in a fairly familiar environment.
