Sorry Hairy she's not in 1.3. She isn't complete yet. There will be an independant release when she finally flies.

Thanks for the offer of the files swpierce, Gordon has sorted them for me.
That's what I like about SoH - folks always willing to help out

Gordon - thanks for those, just need some time to play with them now!
Like the piccies btw. and as for
Percival Proctors, Blackburn Sharks and Ospreys, Walrus
...How I wish to have stuff like those in cfs3! One day I'll stop messing about and get into aircraft modelling proper....the Miles Master mk1 perhaps....

Is there a way to fix the Blackburn_Skua cockpit and get the grey skare out?

It shows up in both the internal and external model, and is just a flat poly, so I'm guessing that there never was a texture mapped to it.

In looking into the m3d files I see that this refers to a texture called mirino.dds that was never provided.

The dash panel background has a texture reference called skua_vc1.dds that is also missing.

Create those two files and your cockpit should look better.

*** I'll see what I can work up for this and post it here later. ***

Major, thank you for looking into this, your knowledge always amazes me.

    Here you go...

The three files that you need to have in your texture folder are mirino.dds, skua_vc1.dds, and copit_t.dds. The last one is a replacement of the one that came with the original version to match with the other colors better.

    Bravo! That was fast!

Be careful, as there may be a mirino.dds file in a folder called I4_shared\ that is non-functional (my system says it's corrupted), but can still confuse CFS3 enough that this fix will only partially work.

    Thanks for the info,
Renamed the file mirinr.dds and replaced it in all of the .m3d of the skua so it would not interfeer whit other A/Cs
