Excellent Major!! Just what she needed. Did you use the templates that Milton provided?

Don't suppose you fancy doing a Brit version, either RAF or FN do you, pretty please??

I've got KN508 with Invasion Stipes and RAF markings, and HB275 wearing Australian colors in the works.

I used Milton's templates where I could, and created my own for the rest.

I see that they bought the Lockheed Type LO in 1938, but I don't see that they ever acquired the Beech until after WWII.

Short answer is yes! FS9 uses some sort of extended bitmap but these can be converted to dds - Paint dot net can do this and I expect Martin Wrights converter will too.
I've been meaning to have a go at some for ages but never got round to it.

There's a few photos of SEAC/RAF vesrions on page 2 of the original Beech thread:

Yes, your photos down at the bottom of that thread are the ones I'm working on. The SEAC one is coming first.

I had a hard drive melt down while I was eating dinner a couple of evenings ago, and I've only just been able to recover everything. It should be no matter though, as I didn't lose much work and I'm likely to finish them before we get the downloads section back up.

p.s. I just discovered that the texture mapping on the top surface of the flaps and left aileron is borrowed from the bottom surface making it impossible to do these properly. Pat, since you have the source files, can you get me an updated model with this fixed?

No worries Major, just pm me and I'll give you me email. If you can send me the texture I'll re-map that part of model.

    Cheers,

    Pat.
