    Web Design...

Anybody here have any advice on some good free web design programs? Or even some not too expensive pay ones? I have been using Microsoft Publisher, (as I use that for my newsletter publishing and know how to use the basics on it) but on my website, there is no way to make it so it automatically centers on the page....

    Example:

    www.grimesflyinglab.org

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    Witt,

I use Yahoo SiteBuilder. That thing is so easy to use and has a preferences section with center, left, right being clickable as settings.

Yours still might have it. Keep looking. You might also be able to find out what the code string is and hand edit the page(s) and center them that way..

Bill... I looked all over online, and seen that many people stated that Publisher does not have that capability... but I think there is a way to edit the .html's manually.. but even then I can't remember if that rectified the problem.... I like publisher because I hit a button and BOOM.. I'm uploaded to the site.... But it's simplicity which makes it easy to use, is also it's biggest downfall I think...

Used it to set up my site. With no previous experience, it has served my simple needs well.

Google "free serif" and you'll find some from a quality English company. Programs a couple of years out of date but what the H*LL, FS9 is out of date, too, but we still fly it.

I've heard that, haven't seen it yet unfortunately... I have the CD laying around here somewhere of the air-2-air pics they took which I gather appear in that magazine... except the CD has evey shot they took! Some pretty dramatic stuff...

    Hi
Ive played with an awful lot of the freeware ones and atthe mo I like the ease and functions of http://www.pagebreeze.com
Its fine for html pretty stable and has sufficient support for the basic's
Ive never used the publish/upload side of the program as I use filezila,I have a number of file server and webpage servers that I upload to and find filezila easier to manage

I built my website using Go Daddy ..

It was $102.00 a year with the purchase of 4 domain names included.

The site cames with all the needed tools to edit and use HTML..Plus it has teck support that was very good and helpful..

You can also run Jave on it ....

Its a complete package with all included for a build your own including hundreds of templates
