For those who don't mind port-overs...

This St.Georg is a nice Fs9 model that ported with the minimum effort.

That would probably rival the Cub for overall speed, lol. . .still in all, a nice little aircraft and a really well done VC on that baby too Roger. I may just give it go as a local "putter arounder", lol.

Where did you find this gem?

Hey that's a pretty virtual cockpit.
I didn't know about this bird. Thank you for the info, I'm a port-over addict so I'll definitely test this thing
EDIT: ... once you say where to find it, of course :P

It's at Avsim. The paths in the panel cfgs don't work in FsX so I rewrote them (vc only) and the panel paths don't work either so I took the alternative panel folders out of the main one and renamed them. I'll attach my prop texture and panels later.

The installer looks for the Fs9.exe. Calling a text file Fs9.exe then placing that in a folder to direct the installer to, works. Here's my changes and textures...

Thanks Roger. I have to admit to being more than pleasantly surprised. This is a very nicely done little airplane. . .peppy, easy to handle, real "seat of the pants flying". Actually, even though this baby only tops out at about 75-80kias, I found it much better in the climb and straight and level than I did a certain Cub. Very enjoyable. . .I could hang out up here with a good thermos of coffee and enjoy the winter landscape for quite some time. Thanks for the HU!!

Thanks Roger, just got it and the FSX fix, but have no time to fly, running like mad today doing the work of two people. My brain is :isadizzy:.. Should I get time, I'll fill everyone in.

It's a little cutie and really well modeled I had it in my GW3 install and so I didn't have the issue of the installer. Tried the text file solution and thankfully it worked...otherwise I'd be red in the face and trying to delete the thread, lol!

Yep, it all works great. There's another thread running right now that asks the question "What will you fly. . . . .", referencing the new PNW scenery that's coming. . .well, I think I found the answer, lol.:salute:

Anyone been able to get their Soko Galeb's VC gauges to work in FSX?
    Cheers,

Just seen a new livery for the St. Georg over at Flightsim.com. The aircraft is called "Borkum" so here she is over Aerosoft's Borkum island.
    file name is_st_georg_borkum.zip
Hand drawn texture by Ingo Schwan.

Very nice. I was gonna do a repaint kit for it and do some "what-if" repaints, just haven't quite got there yet. There's a thread over on the FS9 side on this airplane too Rog. . .someone looking for some 3-view images to apparently develop another version. It's always good to see new designs, but this one is so good I wonder why really.
