I just finished working these up..
Have a Look..
They seem to work well in CFS3 also..These are 250Lb parabombs..
I have gone as low as 40ft, at 180mph and escaped the blast..
At 130 mph about 80ft to 100ft is safe, you clear the blast zone..
One question that I would like to ask is about the aircraft loadout? Will there be an additional write-up on how to add this weapon to an aircraft loadout.
There are a lot of missions in CFS3,ETO,Maw, DPC Korean Skies and PTO about anti-shipping. This weapon would be a great addition to those missions.
This plane looks as if it could do a lot of bad damage.
Were these bombers equipped to carry napalm loadouts in World War Two?
Is it possible to make the parachutes invisible so it would look more like a delayed action bomb on a time fuse?
Cato said "Carthaginem esse delendam" I say "Carthago iam diu deleta, sed enim Bellum Alium adhuc aedificandum est"
Did he ever say these were actually delayed action? I'm pretty sure the chutes are just there for looks.

These would also make good mines such as the LW used during BoB, or do they exist already somewhere?
Either way, good show!![]()

The para's work they slow the bombs..I am working on the MDL's ..the 1000lb bombs tend to tear free of the paras about 20% of them do this..too much weight it seems..what color should the british para bombs be? They will have to loaded has a new bomb load out in the xdp..And the 500lb delay about 2 seconds after they hit..I can't seem to get a longer delay..If I try to set up a longer delay, they don't go off??
I am trying to work out why the 1000lb tear free of the paras and if I can delay the 500lb more..
They fall very slowly and allow the bomber to escape..Even as low as 40ft..But as I am learning some targets have a Blast of there own, and getting caught in the blast of a large oil tank will take you down quickly..
If you've found the trick to making things fall slowly, we could go back and fix NJG_paratroop_US to descend more realistically.
Never mind. I just discovered that AvHistory already had good para-troop files published.

In these screen shots the first on a para has tear free of the bomb and I floating away..Anythig over about 800lbs the do this on about 20% of the time..The next shot the 500lb bombs work great..
The Last two shots with the sub pens again a 1000lb bomb has broken free of the para and i was caught in the Blast..When the Large bombs tear free the paras float off on their own, it is crazy to see them floating very slowly down with nothing attached..
interesting stuff, hop this will bring something new to CFS3... this type of weapon is really missing to this sim, I dream to use some of them loaded into my B25J to strike Rabaul!![]()

Does anyone have a idea on what color I should make the British para Bombs..I have the american Bombs as green, that is easy..
But I am unsure on the British Bombs..Perhaps Pink with purple dots? Would look Good..LOL..
I have loaded the ParaBombs into my PTO And ETO, DPC setups they work well also..

I have recieved some tips on how to get the heavy parabombs to work from Slip Stream, And I shall give it a try..
These missions when finished will be dedicated to Slip Stream, for the Idea for building them
Thanks to Major Magee and Slip Stream for their Help in all of this..
Bravo to the Many men here that have been a Blessing in all of this..
