    Stand by your Man

I didn't want to derail the Tiger Woods thread, so here's a brand new one.
It's evil to quote out of context, but this is what reminded me

Wing_Z, sombody made up that crap. Even in 1955, no way that would have slid by. . .

    Pretty funny, though -

I was thinking the same thing. Some of it sounds like it might be true, but the "you have no right to question him" thing doesn't sound right in any time period.

I long for a day when women take the home duties as...well....duties, but noone wants a slave for a wife.

Man... that was a hard job to be a wife then.... goodness...

...All I can say is be natural.... you are you and you and it is hard to change that.... do not pretend to be something when you are not .... the best part of being a wife is you have something good to offer- your nagging, be...ing self :isadizzy:

Hey Henry, I wasn't even born yet !

My Mom worked as a waitress in a BBQ place (yep, Henry, even at Cobb's at one point!) up until I was born and then she was a full time home-maker, PTA member, helped out at school with various things (remember when we used to have the hearing and vision tests?), etc. So did most of the Mom's in the neighborhood....the two income family hadn't come of age yet.

If he's going to be late for dinner he better call and have a good excuse.

If he stays out all night he better not come home at all.

If I put on makeup and freshen up he's taking me out for dinner.

If he wants a cool drink there's plenty of water in the dogs bowl.

If he has a hard day I work I will remind him it's no pinic taking care of the children all day - so stop complaining.

Standing by your man doesn't mean you are the boss, or she is the boss.... The two of you are the most important part of the union...

So respecting and loving each each other is the key to a happy and healthy relationship.... No one is better than the other... It is a two way traffic....

Not really. If I used less money for parties and the other good things in life I probably would be typing this from an Intel i7.

Nonetheless, I go celebrating while everyone else is a couple...a boring one mostly.

Well...it can be pretty good to have a real mate.
That clipping was sent to me by Mrs Wing_Z!

Now we are going to take turns at following those guideline paragraphs, one for you then one for me.
