Just installed it a week ago and so far I like it! No more crashes and blue screens like I had in Vista. Stabler, faster, easier. So far it seems MS got this one right!

Running it since september or so now. No complaints.

I ran the beta for a couple months on a testing box I have, it was one of the most stable beta's I have ever tested. I had a HDD failure on my main system a couple weeks back so it was the perfect excuse to go for it!, I have had it installed in a dual boot with Vista for a week now, works very well. I didn't have many problems with Vista (I am fairly tolerent and I like to trouble shoot so that helps...lol) and I really see Win 7 as really just and upgrade to Vista rather than a full new OS, but what ever your feelings I agree with the other posts, it seems to be right on the mark, a nice stable OS.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble. I recently got W7 Pro 64 from school for pretty cheap. I'm very disappointed with its FSX performance. I am seeing a 20-25% FPS drop compared to Vista Ultimate 64. I also got a bluescreen on my first day from nvidia driver failures. I never EVER had a bluescreen on my Vista install that wasn't my fault (I removed a flash drive too soon and it didn't like it).

I hate the toolbar design. It's slower in games. It uses no less memory or has fewer processes running than Vista. The only thing I like about it is the boot time.

I miss Vista at this point. I'm going to blame my poor gaming performance on immature W7 Nvidia drivers for now.

I'm William M, and Windows 7 was definitely not my idea.

Mine does completely opposite of what your system is doing. I have better fame rates and the games I have installed work fine.
