    Question F-105 Thud FS-9? Converted?

I heard that there is a freeware F-105 Thud out there for FS-2004 (FS-9) out there... would ANYONE be interested in converting her over if she's not already converted? :d

Did Alphasim release their F-105 Thud? Seems like they did and there was a CFS 2 model in there somewhere. I still have it in my payware folder, but you might check at there site. My link to their freeware site is kaput. Perhaps someone else has a functional link.

Option 2 would be to check under Obio's uploads as I think he also converted the Alphasim FS9 version to CFS 2.

Here is the Alphasim Thud in action near Vinh, Norh Vietnam in CFS 2.

There were a couple F-105s released as Freeware a while back. I have one of them converted and uploaded and the other is in the shop....been a while since I have worked on it. I will take a gander at it this weekend and try to get that one wrapped up and uploaded.

Since I am up for the moment....I took a look at the F-105F two-seater version...and all it needs to be completed is some tweaking to the payload configurations. Will definitely get this bird finished off this weekend and uploaded.

For those not in the know about these planes:

There is a CFS2 F-105D that has been freeware for some time now. And there is the FS2004 F-105 pack that was released last year as freeware, and this pack comes with an D model with weapons modeled on and a twin cockpit F model. Both of these packs can be found on the Freeware page at the Alphasim site.

I have the FS2004 D model converted and unloaded as an E model...just to prevent confusion with the CFS2 D model. The F model conversion is nearly complete and will be ready to upload shortly.

I have uploaded a panel set for the CFS2 D model and the converted "E" model. The F model will have the panel set as part of the upload.

Thanks Gavin for that link. I've replace my old one with your new one.

Drive on Obio! The Thud will be an important plane in the upcoming Vietnam add on by Dirtman and his scallywags.
