    What in the World???

This is a pretty wild 'something'...

I can see Tim Conrad getting into it.

It's from a limited edition line of kits that started in the 80's I knew as "S.F.3.D Original". Nitto started it, but Tamiya and Hasegawa produced a lot of kits. I have a few, they come with so many extras, but they are expensive!!!

This guy has an incredible collection I linked! Check out the link on his web page to his old gallery, Bill. I think he has every kit ever made and then scratch built some more.

and Starship Modeller (One of my favorite sites) has a "Mecha" page you might enjoy.

Actually it looks nothing like anything from this world ...

So a more appropriate title to this thread might have been ... Outta this world ...

    Thanks Dain!

I remember these in the hobby stores years ago. I had totally forgotten about them.

I remember the SF3D stuff. Too funny-- Jumo engines, Junkers weapons, Telefunken avionics...
Now a days, I like making up my own stuff. Heck, I should make more of my own stuff for FSX.
