    Aerodrome WW1 Gothas

The now kaput Aerodrome site had some rather nice but dated German Gotha bombers. Does anyone happen to still have them?

    Hi OW,
I probably do somewhere, not very good about keeping that sort of stuff sorted out.

The PM hasn't arrived but the file is really small so I will attach it here.

Its a zip file - you know the drill

    Gavin

Edit - whoah, when did we gain the ability to upload zip files directly???

    Aer planes

    Hi all.
I have all (I think) of the Aer WW-1 planes, in case anyone would like to try an update. We surely need some WW-1 stuff now that Aerocrate seems to have lost its breath - sad, cause it´s still the best WW-1 stuff ever made.

Thanks Gavin, those are the ones!
Finn: I would indeed like to get those, I'll PM you with my addy. Maybe I can track down Fred Green & try for permission to upload them here.

A bit off topic (sorry OW!) but still "above the trenches". Last week I downloaded a Breguet B.14 a2 from this site:
    http://restauravia.com/page9.html
and found that it converted easily. She looks as though repainting would be straightforward. Anyway, here is a DP for her which includes a bomb load. It would be good to see a dedicated CFS2 Breguet B.14, but this model looks good (except for that damned prop disc!) and provides us with a bomber that played a significant role in the mid to late war period.

I converted that one a while back but I forgot what I decided. Probably was too FR heavy for me then but my PC can handle heavier loads. I wager that the prop disk can be tweaked some way.

I'm back, sorry I took so long . Fixed that prop= Opened up the .mdl in 'MDLmat' & changed the alpha in LOD 01 11 to 25 & voila!

I just tried to open that same MDL file with MDLMat [there are 3 MDLs, actually] and there was nothing to see...

Did a little more messing around. Reduced the prop alpha even more & some other stuff. I think I may attempt to get permission to upload a CFS2 version.
BTW: The FRs are not bad, I know a number of CFS2 specific birds that are more frame heavy.

Many thanks to Gavinc for making those Gothas available. I have just taken them all out for a spin and they really do look great.
I look forward to seeing the Breguet made available. Good luck oldwheat!
    Cheers, Grinseed.
