a wish for prayers

seems my father has had a heart attack..he has been having troouble breathing the past few weeks..passed out on the toilet last week and was confused for about 30 minutes after having laid on the floor about the same time...this morning my mom came out to my rv in a panic..screaming at me to get off the phone and get in the house..she thought dad was dead..i went in and he was in his recliner with his head back,,all i could see was the whites of his eyes..the iris area rolled back to the top.and he was frothing about the mouth..he didnt seem to be breathing..i went hands on to get him to the floor to start CPR and he snapped to,,grabbed me and threw a punch landing HARD on my chest,......

my mom dialed,,or begain to dial 911 and he yelled at her to stop...i told her to continue ..not for him..but for my broken chest plate...he then laughed and asked what the hell was going on and why did we wake him???

we explained that hje had not been asleep thast he had just had a stroke or heart attack and he needed go to horsepital....well he yelled and faught us and this was about 12:10 pm..at that momnet the phone rang and it was his cardiologist...the past two days he had been doing some sort of stress testing at the imaging center,the dr l;ooked at his report and imediatly called..said get ya butt in here...at 12:30 i got a call saying that they were transporting my dad to sacramento...40 mile trip..to a sutter horsepital for congestive heart failure...his BP was 70/35 at the time

so please pray for my dad..or if ya dont pray..please wish him well...

PS i may be in horsepital monday or tuesday for a skin graft myself...not a good time for my family...

yes Bill she will pretty much stay there with him..only thing is..she doesnt drive so my sister will have to take her..or a nieghbor will as im no longer driving either

Having had a heart attack myself, I feel for you and your family Daveroo. My prayers are with you.

Now I want to mention one thing, after your father gets through with all this, he needs to go into cardiac rehab and after Medicare stops paying for it (3 months), continue it on your own. I have been doing it now for over three years and fell better than I felt in my 30's and 40's. My last MRI showed that my heartmuscles are a lot stronger than they were when I had my heart attack. I am not short of breath any longer, I feel great. And I give this free advice to anyone else who reads this and has had a heart attack. Go start excersizing. Panther will back me up on that one.
