It certainly is sharp but interestingly I almost painted this registration in it's other scheme but went with the N760JS registration instead. There are (or were at some point) at least three Paris Jets wearing the same 'JetSet' paint scheme, N626TC, N760JS and N761X.

I managed to bang out a 'quickie' today and it is already in the upload queue.

I have an urge for something black and very shiny next I think.

Ah, I was hoping you'd take a crack at that one. . .I think the stripes are gold too. Kinda looks that way anyway.

Well I thought so too until a crawl through the darkest corners of the internet turned up this photo....

So it looks like it is silver after all.

I have been working on it all day and have the main painting done. Now I just have to get the shine right in the alpha channel and then play with the 'magic' stuff in the spec map. I supposed I had better check on the interior too...don't want to slip the cream interior into this one by mistake.

Just got around to installing this plane and taking a quick flight in her. I think I need the fix, but that aside she's a great plane. Many thanks Tim.

N626TC has just been uploaded and should be available within 24 hours once the Admins clear it.

    Enjoy.

Could someone make a fictional USN repaint of this in VFC-12 Fighting Omars colors? That would be appreciated. :ernae:

oh yes, that black one looks very cool!
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

He is trying to find out some more info on it for me but until I can find out what the name is on the tail this one is going to have to sit for a while.
I think the signature says 'Morane Saulnier', probably with the type underneath

I do, it's the slightly stylized logo of the city of Paris, nicely appropriate, as the plane is called Paris too.

Great job on the repaints so far!

Looking at the photo again I think you could well be right Jankees.

It looks like Piglet already has that logo on his bare metal scheme (I hadn't noticed that as I haven't flown that skin yet).

Thanks for that link, it made very interesting reading and explains why there are a number of Paris aircraft all wearing the JetSet scheme. I wish them all the best in the venture as it would be nice to see more of them in the air and they look like they will be available at a fraction of the cost of a new VLJ.

Thanks Ed, Tim's paintkit makes it a joy to paint (with a couple of exceptions but I know how to work around those areas now).

Well who'd have thought it! :isadizzy:

I was just checking the download stats for my repaints and the Swiss Paris repaint has just become my most popular repaint so far. It just pipped the JetSet one for the title!

I know it's a nice paint scheme but I never thought it would reach 100 downloads never mind 240 (at the present time).

BTW if you are wondering why my Paris repaints have suddenly dried up it's because I hit computer problems last week and the only way out of them was to reformat my C: drive and reinstall XP and all my software again. Several days later I am still adding software but on an 'as needed' basis now and the good news is that all my paint kit files were safe so I should be able to pick up the painting process again shortly.
