    A more recent modification I think.

    As an ex Radio Engineer, the larger aerial looks similar to a UHF comms aerial, the smaller possibly IFF.

    Navigiation aerials are usually fitted as pairs side by side each other.

    Remembering back when I used to own / work on planes, the smaller antenna is a "Transponder" antenna and the larger one looks like a "com" blade. Usually (at least when I dealt with them) a Nav antenna is in the tail of the plane..

    Big one is Vhf radio, (not VOR or ADF), small can be DME,Transponder,or TCAS

    Thinking them same as just come back from my aero club were i work as a fitter engines and airframes
