    I surely need that drink.
    Sahara is loooong and dryyyy.
I nearly missed one of the few NDB's (they are only midle range),
most of the time I fly without any NDB signal.
On my way from NDB FR to NDB ZT.

    Sven,

Yep, the jet I'm holding actually flies, or at least used to. It's 9 feet long, with a 6 foot wingspan and weighs about 32 lbs. We stopped performing with them just before the micro turbines came out, so this one is ducted fan powered so it would only do about 150 mph. Today's models are usually speed limited to 200. I still have one of these (we built seven total) hanging in my garagae over my car. It's a nice reminder of good times.

    Setback!

    Hi guys
Well, as you can see, we've suffered a setback...What you can't see is that we have suffered two!

My gaming rig has become increasingly unstable, so much that I've have taken the rather drastic step of installing Windows7 in a new partition. So I have spent the last 2 days installing and setting up FSX on this new installation - and it seems to work now. I'm not sure on multi-player, it may be W7's firewall, but I'm unable to connect to Buzz' FSHOST.

Other than that, I think I'm ready to give it a go later today!

Bummer to hear Sven. I haven't had much luck with FSX either so I reinstalled FS2004 for the race. Hope the repairs get you flying again soon.

And it proved to big for my cranky PC - sudden reboot after about 4 hours!
Jock is taking over, and I hop you will let his leg count in my stead!

I just got the NDD Calcanhar at Southamerica's NE point. I missed the island Fernando De Noronha.
Maybe it was at the time when the captain was in the pantry doing the dishwashing.

Now heading 190 dgr down the coast.
