My planned 2 day stop in Lisbon was somewhat altered by the big bosses at home :( I was flown back to the UK to Hurn Airport near Bournemouth for a special meeting ! On arrival I was taken to witness an amazing sight . We had all heard about a new aircraft which may revolutionize Air transport and there I was watching the De Havilland Comet making its first 30 min test flight . What a noise , what power , I want a go in that !!! The bosses told me they were pleased with my progress ,so far , and that if I am successful in this competition then I will be the first BOAC pilot to be trained in this beast . What more incentive needed to push on to Argentina

Safely landed at GMMC . A change of plan on approach . I was planning to use RWY 03 via the Anfa NDB but vis was excellent and on reaching the El Hank NDB decided to go for a visual on RWY21 . Bit of a crosswind and a wobble on finals but nice landing
