    Hi Baragoiun

Sorry, not an IFIL design. The model designation is IAR, but I have to admit I donot know myself which...... and thus it is a mystery aircraft for me.
It looks that on the photo the IAR... designation is on the side just below the cockpit, but I have no way of saying for sure what exactly is on the fuselage.
My best guess is IAR-34, but that designation also covers the motor glider initially known as IS-28M2 and this has a tail wheel gear and the slim nose on "120"" seems to indicate a different engine (not the Limbach/VW of the IS-28M-1 (IAR-34). In addition "120" has a tri-gear of a type I have not seen in other IAR designs.
Alternatively it could be IAR-39, but I could not find details on such a design.

Anxiously awaiting the solution, from anybody.
Otherwise may I suggest OH please.

I spent sometime trying to find your mystery aircraft last night....I only came to your conclusion Wout - that it was some sort of IAR-28/34 derivative

First flight in 1933. Powered by a 90hp Pobjoy as best as I can tell.

Well, this one is a bit obscure. No mention at all in Thompson's Italian book. It is a Nuvoli N.5-RR

    Open board please-

Good one, Kevin (where did you find it ??)

Let's keep it going - here's a smart-looking machine that was way ahead of its time in many ways.......

Picture quality says USA, but it has a French look to it.

Looks 'orribly like the Deperdussin Racer of 1913(?).

Keith has it...the Deperdussin (of 1912 actually), with a monocoque construction which won it the 1912 and 1913 Gordon Bennett races. Smooth machine for its time, designed by Louis Bechereau of SPAD fame..

Glass of pastis for the maestro...

Found it along with some other rare 1930's designs. Can't disclose just yet the source as it may yield another mystery or two.

Thanks Lefty, but prefer the local Pineau (or a good malt).
Open house I'm afraid as have nothing to offer.

continuing with a not so easy one (I think)
Flying boat. Sorry for the grainy picture, but is all I got.
It was flown, learned that from later owner (not the builder)

    Not that I know Kevin.
Work on the aircraft started in 1959 and it first flew 1975.

Still working on this one. Doubting there is an Aerofiles entry on it.
