    The Belalang was a Piper J-3 converted to low-wing. 'Belalang' is Indonesian for 'Grasshopper', which of course was also the name of the Military version of the J-3, the L-4.

    This is (was) the Byron Byroncraft A-1 (registration N1586) by Mr. Charles Byron.
    Completed around 1972/1973. Damaged beyond repair when a Cessna lightplane was blown on top of it
    during a storm.
