The undoubted masters of style, the Italians.

Great cars, great architecture, great art, great music.

22 hours idle... must be spring - or blizzards - or...

Well, I'll toss this one down the tube to see if anyone's awake. I'd not be surprised to see it's landed here before.

Consolidated model 39 Libertyliner AKA Convair 104 (XR2Y-1)? Two prototypes built. First flight 1944, both scrapped in 1945.

I actually have it as the Novitchi RG-6. Was Novitchi the designer or the manufacturer?

    HAFC.

Anyway, I have to declare OH - been curling, and no time to look out a horror.

The opposition tonight was skipped by an Olympic gold medallist from 2002 - the result was sadly predictable......

Searched the RG-6 and found that Novitchi was the designer?

And now for something completely different...

Sorry it is a light plane again.
Forerunner of a production plane (with of course a different name/designation).
The cabin area and vertical tail could give some clues.

It is the PM.1 which was an advanced design for it's day. The aircraft was designed by the students at Politecnico di Milano and built by C.N.A. Later developed into the postwar MB.308.
