Long time since we had an Oriental specimen - the Kawasaki KAL-1
Pretty certain I'm right with this one so we'll keep it moving - here's an easy one with a clue.........
You got it Lefty,
Your post subject looks like the Porters grandfather.
Better stop teasing and dispatch this one, Hurricane......
I don't know Lefty. I was hoping it was an early effort by the Pilatus works, but all I found was the Pelican.
Edit: Got it. P-4
Built like a watch...

Bit of a deathly silence here. Maybe that's because this looks rather like a,...er.....glider.![]()

Yes, I think this geisha girl has displayed her charms in these parts before - the Tokyo Gasu Denki Koken monoplane....
By the way, I did make a half-hearted attempt at ID-ing the glider - no joy.
Koken it is. You're on deck Lefty.
This too would have been banned a year ago in this forum - a light aircraft of fairly anonymous design. But we've broadened our horizons and have a couple of specialist in this field who will lap this up, probably.... It is Gipsy Major powered.
PS What WAS the ruddy glider ??????? with all the hints about watches, I reckon it was either an Omega III or a Longines Soarer......
