    A portly airliner...

Looks to me like the 1922 Airline Arrow

Ran across this one the other day - new one to me. Then again I don't get out much. :mixedsmi:

Not a Brit, I think, and it is not springing out of Aerofiles, although it is probably American. The tail looks Gremanic, though....

As you can see, I'm casting for hints here, John! The Texan maestro will probably have it lined up.......

  7. #6682
Actually this one hails from a small country not too far from you Mike. First flight 1925.

The designer/builder may have bumped elbows with some guy named Anthony in the local pub at some point in time....I'll reveal around 12:00pm CST or so if everyone is stumped. Not too much info out there on the web, however it may be featured in those wonderful tomes that some lucky participants here have in their libraries. Plane was scrapped in '29.

Hmmm, Dutch or Belgian ? Been through all the Koolhovens I can find....

Don't know which volume it is in, John, but the '26 Janes ain't one of them !

And another white flag here. I was seeing things "Koolhoven-ish" too...

The Reyneker Re.II 'Kanarie' (Canary, want to take a guess what colour it was..?)

Some more info: It was designed and built by students of the Amsterdam technical college, under supervision of engineer F.H. Reyneker, and built at the Van Houten chcolate factory!
First flight was on June 29th (Of 1925 I pressume) with registration H-NACP. The registration was cancelled on February 28th 1929. What happened with the aircraft after that is unknown.
The engine was a 35 or 45hp Anzani, top speed was 100 kph and the empty weight was 450 kg. Wingspan was 13 meters.

Next one (Probably too easy for you lot, but I like the sleek looks):

    Attachment 61785
Intel i9-13900 Raptor Lake , Be Quiet! Dark rock slim cooler, 32 Gb Corsair DDR5 RAM, MSI Z790 Tomahawk motherboard, Asus RTX 4060Ti 16Gb, Thermaltake 1050 Watt PSU, Windows 11 64-bit 1 m2, 4 SSD, 2 HDD.

Hello Ferry_vO. That would be Anthony's D.XIV. I believe Cees has been working on one for FS.

    Hi Kevin :salute:
whatever we may think, the father Horace E. Sackett was proud of this sibling, the J-1 Jeanie born in 1955. Indeed some Cub influence (wings, tail feathers etc.). Seems Horace could not decide on the engine cause N33130 flew with a Continental (A65), Franklin (4AC) and Lycoming (O-290).
