Hello Wout ! Welcome to the New Look (Hmmmmm.) You are of course right with the Monte-Copter special. I wonder why we never saw lots of these buzzing around ??????
flying fuselage w/o wings (years later called flying body when built by reputed and government backed airframers)
That Sir, is the Horton Wingless prototype (N87698) of 1950. Powered by a 215hp Franklin engine. The prop is in the front obscured from view in this angle.
It is!![]()
Horton, Horten, Schmorten, you won't get a wingy thingy past our Moses !![]()
Well what do you know? We got 4-6 inches of snow today and it is still coming down!

From a smallish company. They also designed a couple of mailplanes, a sportplane and several for the military.

It's the Elias ES-1. Very neat indeed.
Maybe someone else can finish this one off.![]()
Dear dear, thought somebody would have lapped up that strong hint..........![]()
Okay, Okay, I'll nibble. Been busy with honey-do's (drywall, plumbing, ughh. The list never ends.)

Has a French feel but probably hails from the land of grainy photography...
