That, if I'm not much mistaken, is Saro Cloud K2681, test bed for the sponsons and Monospar wing for the S-R A.33.

Direct hit from Lefty. No way to sneak this one through. Over to the lowlands-

I'd expect nothing less from Texas Moses...

The Emigh Trojan Aircraft Co of Bisbee-Douglas Airport, Arizona, folded in 1950.

(OT: Douglas was where my father-in-law took his multi-engine training in WWII before moving to the Marauder)

Ohhh.. I thought he'd just had to many Colt .45s with tequila chasers before he ran the scanner...
the stuff he posts can be bad enough without having to add a dose of 'devious'

    Don't know, Rob - he's a clean-living, temperate family man, (but I sometimes wonder.......)

  8. #4983
LOL. Didn't grain anything up. It was the best photo I had of the sponson experiment. Honest!!

Is that a Briggs & Stratton engine on your wee one?:

  9. #4984
Well I know everything's bigger in Texas, but a 60hp lawnmower might be just a tad OTT.....

    Hi Mike,
a low wing with struts, paint stripes on the fuselage and a Briggs & Salmsom 9ADr radial,
    could be a Blanchet JP-60 from France (F-WCDL/F-PCDL) ??.

  11. #4986
F-WCDL it is, Walter. Over to you.

No takers? Then I'll take this 'shot for open goal': It's of course the Koolhoven F.K.33.

Next up this slightly odd looking helicopter:

    Attachment 33272

P.s.: Post #5,000 is coming up soon!
