You know, most people have a Photoshop filter to minimise grain on a pic - Moses' version adds it by the bucketload .....

Not enough, however, to disguise this Letov S.33

Just for a change, how about a veteran single-engined fixed-gear monoplane.......

That looks very much like the Albatross L 83 (With the signature tail assembly devilishly hidden from view).

This one was designed to land in the water and skim right up on the beach. Okay, I made that up but it is a weirdo!

Looks like somebody attacked an old BT-1 with a welding kit. Presume the wingboard 'props' are not for propulsive purposes - air tanker ? crop duster ? Never seen this one.

And the motor looks as though it is about to part company with the rest of the nose.........

One major maufacturer testing some things on another major manufacturers aircraft. The outboard "props" were to simulate propwash...

Not for a Burnelli but for a very big transport.

Time to reveal. This is a Northrop A-17A Nomad that Douglas borrowed to test air foil sections for the giant C-74 transport. Not sure if the outboard props were powered by small engines or just windmilled. Don't know why Douglas didn't just use something of their own as a testbed.

Maybe better luck with this spiffy twin boom amphibian-

Spiffy indeed - I suppose if I ever wanted the ultimate prezzie from Santa, a small amphibian would just about fit the bill. (plus a course of flying lessons, natch)

This one is the Airmaster Avalon 680.

Pretty certain I'm right with this one, and we're not going to hear much from Texas for a while (apart from a few cows snoring) so we'll push on with another smoothie..
