The land version is more common. How this one ended up in the jungle with this air force is a mystery in itself!

Being in the cicvilized domain of Quebec for the next few days I'm short of reference material, but I'm thinking the Fokker/Fiarchild may not be... something spawned in perhaps the Argentine or Equador? Panagra had lots of bucks and ideas in the 30's.
We have many apples, many ciders.. Quebec ( low-hig-test) BC has an apple industry with commercial ciders.. or you buy imported Strongbow at most pubs
Rob
"To some the sky is the limit. To others it is home" anon.
Rob, I did say 'proper cider'. Strongbow is commercial carbonated toilet cleaner which bears as much relation to real cider as Budweiser does to real ale !
Anyway, Kevin, give me a tad longer with the Fairchild/Fokker/Stinson etc etc clone. Today I have been confined to my hammock in the garden. SUMMER HAS HIT SCOTLAND !.
No, this one's escaped! Let's hear it.
Got a floater past Lefty! This one is a Hamilton H-45 of the Peruvian Air Force.
Before you ask, this wing job did fly!

Whilst searching (fruitlessly) for the Hamilton, I came across this little brute, so I'll leave it for someone else !
Re the Hamilton, I looked at the Metalplanes in my archives, but dismissed them because of the corrugated finish, which doesn't show in your pic, also the tail didn't look right. Ah, well......
The wingie is from a well-known and famous company...

You're on the right track, Togo, but it is another car company, bigger, more famous, and still in business too. (Only just, maybe !)
C'mon, chaps, that's enough hints !
Why yes, yes it is.For the newcomer DHC2Pilot.
Your turn Sir. There are some general guidelines about what to post in the first post of this thread.

And for my first submission here....Sorry for the poor quality picture - I've been unable to locate a better reference copy. Now, before someone pummels me for posting a "light" aircraft photo, it does have historical significance which will be revealed as hints (if necessary).
scrub the light aircraft reference - that genre doesn't really apply here
Has a Morane-Saulnier M.S. 121 look to it. Not sure at all.
