Has a French feel. Not sure at all.

  2. #2727
    Close, but not French.

  3. #2728
This one is very obscure. It is from a country which shares a border with France.

    And it's not Andorra.

So that only leaves Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.

Intel i9-13900 Raptor Lake , Be Quiet! Dark rock slim cooler, 32 Gb Corsair DDR5 RAM, MSI Z790 Tomahawk motherboard, Asus RTX 4060Ti 16Gb, Thermaltake 1050 Watt PSU, Windows 11 64-bit 1 m2, 4 SSD, 2 HDD.

    And Monaco...

    Think Benelux.

  6. #2731
OK, I think I detect white flags on the ramparts, so will reveal that this is the Mulot AM-20, a neat little Belgian number from 1925.

This will not last long in the shark pool.......

I doubt you will find a piece of land flat and long enough in Monaco to land a plane on.. Helicopters only!

You don't necessarily need terra firma to land on, Ferry ! (I think they held the first Schneider Trophy in Monaco.)

  9. #2734
Would probably be safe to assume this one is from France, eh? Looks like a Caudron stepchild.

  10. #2735
    Not French..

Not a racer - trialed by the military. The story of its designer, his exploits and subsequent fate would make a good movie. Continental Europe.

  13. #2738
    Irbitis C6 (bis?) from Latvia

  14. #2739
I think fasm is correct on the C6bis. I found it in my archives (after fasm spotted it) as the Cukurs C6bis.

  15. #2740
C6 it was - either Irbitis or Cukurs. Herberts Cukurs' story is quite bizzare, culminating in assassination in Argentina by Mossad !

    Over to fasm.

  16. #2741
Some nice little plane and a less slick face of the C6bis Cukurs with his 280cv hispano-suiza 6 cyl eng

  17. #2742
Fasm, I think your neat little French lady is the Guerchais Roche T.35

  18. #2743
    Good show Lefty.

The mysteries are really going off the beaten path of late. Since the Avro it has been; Equator, Citroen, Mulot, Cukurs and now a Guerchais Roche! Sounds like we are touring the wine country instead of spotting aircraft.

  19. #2744
Hat off Mr Lefty nice find for this local jewel

  20. #2745
I agree with Moses, although Guerchais Roche sounds more to me like something my good lady might dab behind her ears prior to a party !

This has a much more prosaic name and should present no difficulty to all you 30's freaks....

  21. #2746
I believe this would be the Avimeta AMV-92 (sometimes designated as the CM.92) from 1928.

  22. #2747
That's the one. Over to you....

  23. #2748
Not sure how long this one will last.....probably an easy one for the WWI buffs out there.....

  24. #2749
Looks like the Astoux-Vedrines Triplan. Variable incidence wing. Interesting for 1916.

Feeling pretty confident so I will move along here with a new one-

  25. #2750
Hmmm, looks like one of those American 'one-offs' again..... Something about it looks a bit more modern than it at first appears - the tyres, for instance. This could be a creature of the sixties....
