Well at this stage I think I am going to reveal the name of my mysterious tourer which is the: Dumbrava Iasi 1 (built in Romania in 1939 and powered by a 40hp Salmson). At least one pic ( the one I posted) is available on the net.

That's a Fiat G.18 - her stubby nose very distinctive. Was a bit confused by the markings but they must be the Co-Belligerent Air Force ?
If you look closely you can see how the white Cross of Savoia on the rudder has been painted over.
(spent a bit of time looking at the very similar Bloch 220, but French girls all have pointy noses....... )
