OK, that is a Paris Salon - but I still can't pin this one down!
I have seen similar struts before. Unfortunately they were on a Packard Lussac 11, which is American, but it was designed by Georges Le Pere a Frenchman. Is it anything to do with him?
Not related to Le Pere. This one was a one-off noted for it's speed and did not go into production.

This one was a bit of a stinker. It's the de Marcay 2 from 1919.
Moving along, any takers on this nice amphibian?

Slight resemblance to a Sikorsky S39. But the tail is all wrong.
The de Marcay 2 is a new one to me, even knowing what to look for makes no difference, I still can't find anything about it. HavDo you have any information on it Moses?
Hello all - been curling today and last night - a bit weary. Today the GB Olympic squad were out on the ice beside us and to be honest I don't see much difference between their skills and mine............:costumes:
Anyway, Moses' floater is a Heinkel He57 (Baked Bean Special).
I don't have much at all on the de Marcay. That enclosed cabin was removeable though.

I think AviaFrance may be right in calling the French job the de Marçay T4, although there is no pic, the description fits.
The deM 2 was a fairly conventional fighter very similar to a SPAD but with a much-shortened lower wing. Here it is
