    Thank you Moses. I thought it was a very imaginative design when I first saw it in Air Progress. It presaged
    Rutan's Variviggen by several years.

    Back to the old days...

    From Ferry's post #6686:

    "The Reyneker Re.II 'Kanarie' (Canary, want to take a guess what colour it was..?)

    Some more info: It was designed and built by students of the Amsterdam technical college, under supervision of engineer F.H. Reyneker, and built at the Van Houten chcolate factory!
    First flight was on June 29th (Of 1925 I pressume) with registration H-NACP. The registration was cancelled on February 28th 1929. What happened with the aircraft after that is unknown.
    The engine was a 35 or 45hp Anzani, top speed was 100 kph and the empty weight was 450 kg. Wingspan was 13 meters."
