I have it in my "book" as the Rotor Wing Ultra-Stol and the registration N25RW was assigned.
Firms involved were Rotor Wing Systems, Coronado, Ca. and High Technology Aircraft System, Inc. of San Diego, Ca. Design is attributed to a Dr. Gordon and reportedly the aircraft left the ground at least twice. According to info I got years ago from Mr. William F. Chana (Convair, Bee Aircraft and past president of the San Diego Air & Space Museum) the aircraft had two 50hp engines and in final form wings from a Cessna 150. N25RW was completed around 1978. Other source says the engine output was 150hp total.
So now I am anxiously waiting for someone to fill in the full details.
...and Open House please
