Don't know this (presumably American) ship - must have been a tougher bird than it looks - most noses would be stove in by a champagne bottle !
Has Burnelli overtones about it but otherwise haven't a clue.
Rgr on American. Time to reveal the Johnson Twin 60 of 1927. It had differential braking coupled with a tail wheel for the first time suposedly. The Air Corps were said to have made this standard on all future aircraft because of this design.
Once more on the twin pusher layout. Any takers on this futuristic model?

Haven't much time to look out a real poser - but some of you might not be familiar with this one.
Cunnliffe Owen Concordia. Ol' big'ead here doesn't even have to check that one:costumes:
to Sandar for the Concordia (I was right, Moses). I don't know what sort of gnat's piss they serve in the Cricketer's, but it doesn't feature in the Good Pub Guide ! (that's if it's the Milton Keynes one)
C'mon, then, let's have another Buckinghamshire mystery.
PS My local is no better, but there's a real ale pub just over the hill

The Cricketers is a rubbish pub and I don't go there,it just happens to be my nearest pub. I occasionally have a pint when out for a meal, but I don't go drinking for fun. Booze and medication don't mix. The virtual pint is most welcome though.
We stayed just outside Stirling a few years ago (Thornhill I think) and had some wonderful beer and one of the best meals ever in the village pub.
I will have to post an easy one because we are away for the weekend celebrated (if that is the right word) my father in law's 80th birthday.
