Here is a side view. Pretty good sized for the type. It had decent STOL ability.Attachment 12527

This seems to be the builders only successful design. His claim to fame was a really oddball aircraft that he worked on just prior to the pusher. As Rob guessed, it is a west coast company.

It has a bunch of familiar elements and I know I've seen it recently, but I'm going to wave a white hanky..

    A floater -

  7. #3712
My guess would be a French floatplane racer of some sort. Not sure at all.

That was my first thought too, but I kept finding a bare cupboard.

People in the background keep drawing me 'east', but the overall shape and mild gullwing cornfuzzle me

OK. I was going to demand the BW suffix, but the 35 it is. Only pic I can find.

Over to a presumably hot Texas from an absolutely sodden Fife - the Open Championship is in danger of being washed out !

(the word amongst the golf buffs here is that Tiger won't even make the cut..)

I went thru everything `Klemm`I could find but the only floater was a pretty standard Kl35 two seater on floats from Norway.

Finally found one captioned and the fusleage and cockpit matches but it`s on wheels :
    Einsitzige Kl 35, Klassen-Höhen-Rekordmaschine (8350m) mit HM 506 Motor

Yup, it's hot but we had some decent rain last week that greened everything up for the time being.

On the Klemm, I never did find a photo. I did come across the same pic srg posted and it sure looked like it minus the floats so I went with the guess.

Part two of the pusher series- this time with twin booms. Note: Not a motor glider!

Here from Heinz Nowarra's definitive 'Deutsche Luftrustung 1933-1945'

The Pusher King has rolled out another horror for us and I don't think I've seen this one, but I suspect it's back to Aerofiles.....
