    Hi Kevin
Thank you for the info. Also allowed me to us the correct spelling (one S only).
Next challenge started 25+ years ago of as one-of-a-kind, but by 2013 already 3 had been built (although no plans/kits were ever available).
Will accept name of the original and name of the pictured green/white one.

I see it on a picture from EAA AirVenture 2015 but I can’t track it via its registration.

What, pray, is the EAA ? It seems all the plastic flivver posts refer to it ?

Googling it, I find the Edinburgh Architectural Association.........

  11. #13611
There is even more: According to an article in “Experimenter”, April 2014 the "Bearcoupe" is based on Fred Keller's Prospector STOL from 1989.

    Hi giroXX
Indeed the Bounds Bearcoupe (in FAA register), but essentially a Keller FK-1 Prospector STOL with some cghanges.
Keller built the first one (N4XK) for personal use, then a second example (N5XK) for a friend. N136BC was built by Robert Bounds.

For “plastic flivvers” I recommend the IPMS (UK) Scale ModelWorld, Telford UK, 12th & 13th November 2016

Something less exotic from my side again. Sorry lefty, it’s post 1975 and presumably mostly plastics.

The picture was taken before its first flight. Meanwhile it flies in the skies of the “old world”. According to Wikipedia two examples have been built so far.

    Hi Mike
That is her. Can you be the judge? Is it Bumblebee or Bumble Bee? (not for this one but for the cousin of the honey bee in general)

    Your turn, Sir!

  20. #13620
Either will do, Walter - I like bees - we need them !

Here is something which is very easy, I fear, and there are persons in Italy and France (not to mention the USA, Holland and the rest of the world) who will snap it up......(by the way, gxx, is your 'Black Forrest' the Schwarzwald we know, or is there another one somewhere ???)

    IAR-15 from the dark country.

  22. #13622
    Indeed sir.

Looks as though your boys have a firm grip on the Ryder Cup. Great golf, great TV.
    Over to the Hotlands....

  23. #13623
Good to see our boys holding their own at the moment. The last few years have not gone so well for our Ryder Cup teams!

Here is a new entry into the mystery plane world.

  24. #13624
    1. is it US-American?

    1. Yes

    2. Yes

Interesting in that this was not a one-off. Three were built in the 1920's from a small outfit.
