Thunderbolt, that is a Sirrus-ly good-looking screen cap. Could be a cover shot for Flying magazine.

I see you still have mapping issues also. I quit the repaints until that that gets addressed

Milton, I notice you're flying the Howard 500. Which I recently found and installed. I love flying this beauty. She's so graceful. (great piece of work there) I also see you have a different paint scheme you're showing us. Is this available on your website? I'd love to have it!!

Also, out of curiosity mainly. Do you ever plan on remodeling the Howard 500? Reason I ask is it looks like you've come a long way since then. Something I'd love to see happen :ernae:
There are many repaints for the Howard 500 at Flightsim and Avsim. This is one of many that I have.

There were several updates for the Howard 500. In what areas are you looking for improvements?

There are no plans now to redo the Howard 500.

There are repaints for it?!? Wow, I must have looked in the wrong places. I was under the assumption that considering the one you painted was the last known (if I read correctly at your site) restored flying version. Maybe that's why I quit looking for any repaints (shrug)

As for the updates, anything you suggest is good for me

    Edit

Found the repaints and updates!! Right under my nose

I must say, I like the way your 407 flies. Very easy to hover and nimble very much like the real thing. You have done a very good job of modeling the pitch increase/decrease in the rotor blades.

Keep up the good work! Mike :ernae:

Pete, what afterburner effect is that on the 21UM? It sure doesn't look like mine.

I have to agree, I have seen some stunning things while flying the virtual skies over the years. It has almost made me forget that I am in front of the pc with my wife yelling at me from the kitchen - "Dinner is ready", oh when will they ever learn...

Wow. You guys have some really, really good screenshots!
Sometimes the immersion factor can really get to you. One moment you really feel you are at 4500 feet in zero visibility hoping that the Cherokee in front of you is not going to change course and smack into you while you go on final (serves me right for setting that up as VFR), the next thing you know your kids show up ask what'cha doin and all of a sudden there's an audible shoomp sound as I get sucked back to reality, and here I am staring at a computer screen.
Here's a couple from me; hope you like. The one with the Hawk 200 is my current desktop.

Besides all this stuff about tweaking, replacement textures, hardware specs and weather settings - there's one thing that makes me go wow again and again:

    It's this community!

    Thank you, guys!

Merry Christmas, happy Chanukkah, krazy Kwanzaa and a freaky fir tree party - whatever you may call it - to you all!

    Take care!

    Cheers,
    Markus.

Hi Nambus got the float widcat here

post number 30, then in looking at photos of the real bird it didn't have the red meatball centers on the star so I just changed it to the later style star slightly darker blue surround. If there's any interest and it's okay with the creator's I can always upload it as a repaint
