What is your Fave cooking show

    Hey guys,

What is your fave cooking show? I know, you probably have many.

Mine is Alton Brown and then Rachel Ray is second. My most fave was the Cajun Cook, God rest his soul.

Justin was awesome.. Loved his show. He was always saying 'whooooo'.. and overloading the spices and wine, lol..

One thing that he did every time was add a cool little story during the end. My dad was Cajun and talked just like him and he also told these wild stories at the dinner table that were a riot to hear.

    Great guy.

I've gotta go with Everyday Italian. Not only is Giada very attractive but the recipes she comes up with are great. I swear I think I've got some Italian blood somewhere in me

Back in the 80's I used to watch 'The Frugal Gourmet' all the time. Later on I watched Justin Wilson who was GREAT!! Now-a-days I'll catch Rachael Ray (very cute) every once in a while, but I mostly get my gastronomical "fix" online. Websites like http://www.epicurious.com/ are always worth the time to visit. Speaking of food I whipped this up for my younger son today. It's not exactly gourmet cooking but it's cheap, nutritious, and delicious.

    Brian

    15 Bean Soup

    1 onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 bag 15 Bean soup mix (pitch the seasoning packet)
1 packet of onion soup mix
    1 16oz can Italian-Style Stewed Tomatoes
    1 6oz can chicken chunks
    Water
    Salt

    Soak beans overnight.
Place all ingredients, but the chicken, into pot and cook on med-low heat for 2 hours.
Add the chicken and cook for 1 hour more.
    Salt to taste.

She is awesome. She has had her mom on the show a few times. She is a famous actress in Italy.

How on Earth does she stay so tiny and cook all that food! goodness..

I can't do cooking shows. It sets off some kind of an alarm or something in my body that says I have to eat ...

Good Eats with Alton Brown. Mostly because he's kinda goofy and makes it fun. He's also got a local connection as he graduated from the New England Culinary Institute which is located here in VT.

Bobby Flay's Older Show, about grilling was pretty good too.

Take my love, take my land, Take me where I cannot stand.I don't care, I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me. Take me out to the black, Tell them I ain't comin' back. Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me. There's no place I can be.

I dunno, she's got more willpower than I do! She only takes a small bite of whatever she's prepared, probably does that off the air too.
