Is this an upgradable deal? That I can download or buy an upgrade for it?

I wonder what the difference between the two are?

Its not installed,and maybe never has been installed...Not sure on that.....

My understanding is that every update within a NUMBER version (7, 8, 9) is free. When the version number changes, you have to buy it again. I don't know how often the version numbers change, but it's much like buying a new version of Flight Simulator every 2 or 3 years.

I bought 9 and it's updated to 9.22 with 9.3 on the horizon. I expect several more updates before they go to 10.

Anyway, to answer your question you would have to buy version 9. You MIGHT be able to update your version to the latest version of 8, I don't know if those would still be available or not.

Thanks for that Jim...I'll guess I'll get off my lazy tail and head over to their official site and check it all out better ....

Was hoping to avoid that, but now ona mission to see if V8 has any updates...Thanks

Try Ebay. I'll bet there are a few copies there. Also, if you have a GameStop store nearby, they might have a few there. (I know they have FSX there at mine.. Was out looking for CFS2 2 days ago).
