    Simply assign a key command to the 'GPWS' in the FsX controls, now you can turn it on or off when you desire.

    Thanks - I had no idea that was there!

    edit - It doesn't get rid of the 'Over G' warnings though.

    Here is the a link to the orginal voice of Betty - http://www.eleinc.com/erica.shtml

    Adding this line to the aircraft.cfg will get rid of the annoying "too low! too low!" :

    [GPWS]
    max_warning_height = -1 //No need for GPWS

    I just found this in the .cfg for version 1.1. Maybe editing or removing this will get rid of the over G warning:

    [VoiceAlerts]
    LowFuelPct = 0.1, -1, 60 //Low Fuel limit (percent), Check BELOW, Check every 60 seconds
    OverGLimit = 6.0, 1, 1 //High G limit, Check ABOVE, Check every 1 seconds

    Thank you. The exact same lines are in the Acceleration F-18 cfg.

    I could also delete these from the sound cfg -

    [VOICE_ALERT_OVER_G]
    filename=OverG
    [GPWS_PULL_UP]
    filename=GPWS_Pull_Up

    Problem solved

    It there a trick to getting the MFDs and HUD working? I can grab the knobs with the mouse but they won't turn. The Master Avionics switch is on and, I can't find anything else that applies to the MFD.

    Jmig, do you have Acceleration? I believe we need this for the MFD's and HUD (unless there is a way to liase other gauges?)
    "What do you hear?" "Nothing but the rain!" "Then grab your gun and bring the cat in!" "Boom, boom, boom!"
